Ingredients:
1kilo chicken
1 can pineapple chunks
1 small can evaporated milk
3 potatoes
2 carrots
1 bell pepper green
1 box CHEESE
1 onion,chopped
1 garlic minced
1 Tbsp.oil
3 Tbsps.Patis
Salt and pepper to taste
2 sachet magic sarap
2 tbsps. sugar
STEPS FOR PREPARING PININYAHANG MANOK WITH CHEESE
1.)Cut up the chicken into single-serving pieces.
2.)Open the can of pineapple chunks,set aside the pineapple chunks,and pour the pineapple juice into a bowl.
3.)Soak the chicken pieces in the pineapple juice about 5 minutes.
4.)Place the chicken and pineapple juice in a pot on medium heat.Wait for the liquid to evaporate.
5.)In the same pot ,Saute' the garlic and onions in oil with chicken,Add the other ingredients-potatoes,carrots,magic sarap and patis.
6.)After a minute,Add pineapple chunks,CHEESE,Evaporated milk,and bell pepper.
7.)Simmer until the sauce is creamy. Season with salt,sugar and pepper.
8.)Make sure the chicken is thoroughly done by poking the flesh with fork,knife or even toothpick. There should be no pink!!!
9.)Serve and enjoy with rice and juice....
